He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”

But Jesus looked at them and said, “What then is the meaning of this Scripture: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

“Beware of the scribes. They like to walk around in long robes, and they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They devour widows' houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive a more severe judgment.”
