Die eerste ding wat Jesus met die dissipels gedoen het was om hulle te roep (Matteus 4:19). Jesus kom vandag nog om mense te roep. Baie dink dit het net met bekering te doen. Nee — wanneer Jesus kom, roep Hy mense om Hom te volg en vissers van mense te maak. Die twee begrippe kan nie van mekaar geskei word nie.
