Glorious

Moses quaked

In the presence

Of unadulterated goodness

As the Ancient of Days

Blazed before him

And knew his name.

Mary trembled,

A watchful mother

Cradling the glory of God

Holding the flesh and blood

Of the Eternal One

Entrusted to her.

The room fell silent

As the Lord of all

Knelt to wash 

Dirty feet 

Unashamedly 

The servant of all. 

And heaven resounded

As the battle scarred

Redeemer returned

Victorious

Triumphant

Glorious in love.
