God, Help My Kids Shine For You
In the Bible passage today, we learned that God wants us to be blameless and pure in this warped and crooked generation. He desires that we shine like stars as we hold onto His truth. That includes our kids! In their schools, as they stand out and shine God’s love, others will be drawn toward His light.

How do we train our kids to shine for Jesus? These verses tell us that one of the ways to stand out as bright stars is to do things without complaining or arguing. That’s easier said than done, isn’t it? Let’s work to foster an environment of peace in our homes and the lives of our kids, so they will learn how peace and contentment
This is only accomplished through God’s power. Let’s ask Him to give us peaceful homes and hearts.
Suggested prayer: God, may my children shine as a bright light for You in a dark and evil world. May I shine Your love by being selfless, humble and pure, walking in obedience to You. Help me hold fast to Jesus, the word of life and be the example to them.
Do you know that you and your children can share their faith with their sponsored child? Sharing God’s love with them is an essential part of child sponsorship. You can learn more here.
