Great Is His Faithfulness 

Our God is a champion who guides us and fights for us. He defeated the great Egyptian empire, and defeated mighty nations – here referred to collectively as the Amorites – in the promised land. Most of all, Jesus defeated the demonic powers arrayed against us, not through dramatic miracles, but by forgiving us through dying for us on the cross (Colossians 2:13-15). He is the champion. 

How can we stress less about having to overcome the obstacles in our lives, and build our trust in Christ – that He has overcome the ultimate obstacle of God’s wrath against our sin?
