Journey With Hopeنموونە

good work
How do you feel about work? Perhaps the alarm sounds on a Monday morning and you really don't want to get our of bed. Maybe you enjoy the challenges your work brings. Maybe the daily experience of chasing toddlers and organising family life is exhausting.
The Bible has much to say about work. It tells us that work is part of creation, although sin has made it harder. But what is important for us to note is that God has laid out our work for us, ahead of time, and we are to bring him glory as we do it.
There should be great joy for us in this, because it means we aren't alone. He has prepared tasks for us to do, and He goes with us as we do them.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by tasks or burdened by chores, know that God is with you as you do them.
As believers, work extends beyond pay packets and office hours, because we also work a 'labour of love' (1 Thes 1:3) which is the hard work we do for others. This work is other-person centred, and it's what we are all called to do. But in all of this - we glorify God, the one who gives us work and the one who we represent in our work.
