Baptized with the Holy Spirit
"Prayer is not logical; it is a mysterious moral working of the Holy Spirit" - Oswald Chambers
The word ‘baptized’ means to immerse, to cover, to saturate, and to bury. To be baptized with the Holy Spirit is to be totally surrounded, saturated, and covered with the Holy Spirit. A person who is saturated knows they are wet; someone immersed in the Holy Spirit knows it.
John the Baptist said that the Messiah would carry out this baptism. Following His resurrection, Jesus told His disciples to wait until they had received this gift.
What prayer are you praying as you wait? Is it to be immersed in the Holy Spirit?

Jesus ascended to heaven forty days after his resurrection. During that time He appeared to His followers, saying, “I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." Waiting can be difficult. Behind closed doors, praying and waiting for the gift of the Spirit… for ten days. God is up to something!
