The Spirit Shakes Things Up
“Church power arises from the indwelling of the Spirit; therefore those in whom the Spirit dwells are the seat of Church power. But the Spirit dwells in the whole Church, and therefore the whole Church is the seat of Church power.” - Charles Hodge
It is common to forget that the Holy Spirit we are baptized in, is the same Holy Spirit who hovered over the earth in creation, and is the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the grave. The Holy Spirit creates and recreates. That is a lot of power. Can you imagine plugging to that kind of power source? No wonder things shake from time to time. Let’s not limit our belief in what the Holy Spirit can do.
Have you placed limitations on what the Spirit can do and with whom?
