BRAND NEW 

In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs 3:6, AMP)

To know your true identity, you have to spend time with God to understand His loving heart and to recognize His work and ways in your life. When you acknowledge His presence and give Him the place of honor by inviting Him to have first place in your life, this promise is meaningful: He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Acknowledging God is to declare that He is true and exists and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him with all their heart. His is a straight and flawless path. God’s way is clear, it is man who makes it complex and complicated. Ask Him to always have you at the right place at the right time; to speak the right words, with sincerity and truth, and to expect the fulfillment of His promises as an integral part of your life. Flow in His timing and follow His leading. Set your mind on Him and your new identity will flourish and thrive.

The time is now for you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2). God has need of your transformation for what He wants to pour out into a world that is parched for Him. A renewal is going to call for reprogramming into His way of thinking. Read His Word and gain an understanding of the way God views things. It won’t always be the same way you see things. Take time in His presence to be quiet and listen to His voice and learn from Him. As you take your new identity and a new way of living into your everyday life, others will be refreshed. Your new identity is Christ in you. Rigid ways of religious and traditional thinking are not going to reach the liberated culture of an emerging generation. Today we must lift our renewed lives before the Lord and ask Him to fill them with His presence, His personality, and His power to reach people in a relevant and meaningful way. 

Thank you, Lord, that it is a new day and you have a new way perfectly detailed for me.
