He Leads Me Beside Still Watersنموونە

 

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.

I didn't realise how many decisions we had to make as adults, I certainly didn't feel prepared for them all; in fact some days I still feel overwhelmed with the decisions that are needed in life.  

What's for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner?

Which job round the house is most important?

Who needs a phone call most today?

Which emails can't wait?

I'm sure I'm not alone.

All those decisions and worries take up time in my head and can steal my peace bit by bit.  But the great news is that God is with us in all the hours of the day and in every decision that needs to be made.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.

Today, before every decision and especially if I start feeling worried about anything, I'm going to stop and ask God to guide me.  Why don't you try it too. 

Let's remind ourselves that we can trust God to help us see clearly the right decision.  God leads us in every part of life and every decision, the smallest as well as the biggest ones.  

Prayer:

Lord God

Thank you for being with me every day.  Help me to hear you more clearly as you guide me through the storms of life and to know that I am safe in your care.
