Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
As we approach the end of the Psalm, David celebrates the joy of being in God’s enduring presence. We hear that we will be surrounded in God’s love every single day, a constant companion in every situation we face. What a wonderful blessing to celebrate.
In the good days God celebrates with us.
In the stressful days God calms us,
In the days of anxiety God gives us peace.
In days of grief God comforts us.
No matter what is happening in your day today, no matter what you are feeling, make time to thank God for his goodness in your life and ask that you can share that with others in their days.
Prayer:
Lord God
Thank you for being with me every day. Help me to hear you more clearly as you guide me through the storms of life and to know that I am safe in your care.
