Advent: The Hope of Christmasنموونە

Where is our hope?
Where is your hope? Scriptures teaches that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and that He will never forsake us. Can we say the same for our friends and family? In this dark season of life that we are in, it can seem like there’s not any hope.
In Micah 7, we see the writer give us some encouragement. Families can rise against each other, wars will happen, enemies will taunt me, but even in the midst of all that, my hopes lie in the Lord. That is who I will wait for.
In verse 7, he gives us the biggest encouragement by saying, “my God will hear me.” I don’t know about you, but that gives me peace in knowing where my hope lies. You don’t have to carry your burdens alone. He’s the God that hears and sees you. He walks with you, He goes before you, He cares for you, and He loves you so much.
Don’t miss out on Him.
Application: Take some time to write out things that you have been putting your hopes in. If it’s not God, give it to him this season. Take time to read, reflect and pray on God’s word and what He’s teaching you.
