Day One: Jesus is The Word of God.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God." — John 1:1-2

Today, we are diving right into who Jesus is. John 1 calls Him “The Word of God.” Jesus was born and lived out his life according to the scriptures, as the living scripture. He became the Word made flesh, made real in a way that we can all relate to and be in awe of. 

But Jesus was also there with the Father in the beginning, before the world was made and before sin entered in! In Genesis 1:26, God speaks of creating man “in Our image and according to Our likeness”. When Jesus became flesh, He brought to us EVERYTHING that God was and is. Salvation became flesh. Healing became flesh. Love became flesh. Peace became flesh. The Word became flesh so it could touch our flesh, save, heal and redeem us!

As we look at what Jesus came and did, you will see LOVE manifest in every way. When He forgave the sinner, love became flesh. When He fed the multitudes, provision became flesh. When He touched the sick, healing became flesh. 

I am praying that you will experience the heart of your Father God towards you, and through these 12 devotionals that you experience power and freedom like never before!

Say So: Jesus is the Word of God. He is the Word made flesh. By coming to this world, His love has been made flesh to come and touch me. His grace has been made flesh to come and touch me. His healing has been made flesh to come and touch me. His power has been made flesh to come and touch me and make me whole. I receive Jesus as the Word of God today!
