Day Seven: Jesus is the Head of all things! 

"And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all." — Ephesians 1:22-23

Congratulations, friends, for completing the first week of our 12 days of Christmas “Jesus IS” devotionals! 

Jesus is the Head of all things and therefore all things are under His authority. He reigns over life, and as we submit to His authority and His thinking, we reign in life as well. 

Life can be very challenging in this season and any season. But Jesus can handle it. As believers, each of us are a part of His Body. Satan is under our feet. Sickness, fear, poverty, anxiety and depression are ALL under our feet. So why do these things defeat us at times? We have the right to rule over these things, but as His body, we need to get aligned to the Head. How do we do that? Simply by aligning our thinking to His thinking, through His Word. Agree with God’s Word today that He is the Head over all, and we are seated with Him in heavenly places, in authority in this life. As you believe that, confidence comes and fear leaves. Put His thoughts in your head and your decisions in His Hands today, and everything’s going to be all right!

Say So: Jesus is the Head over all things. Everything is under His authority and He has given me authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall hurt or harm me today. I agree with God’s Word. I put my decisions in His Hands. Everything’s going to be all right today!
