The Greatest Gift Speaks

Mary’s response in Luke 1:46-55 wasn’t random—it was inspired. She heard from the Lord, believed His Word, and responded in worship. Jesus, the greatest gift, is not silent. He speaks. God is not distant or disconnected from your life. He desires to reveal His truth to you. Jeremiah 33:3 is a powerful promise: “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” When we call on Him, He responds with wisdom, direction, and revelation.

Jesus affirmed this in John 16:13: “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth…” God is not withholding guidance—He is constantly leading those who are listening. In John 10:27, Jesus said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” You were created to hear from God. You don’t have to guess or walk in confusion—your Shepherd speaks, and you can know His voice.

Your Next Step:

Start by believing that God wants to speak to you, because He does. Get still. Ask Him questions. Be intentional about creating space to listen through prayer, journaling, and reading the Word. As you hear Him speak through scripture, peace, nudges, and wisdom, write down what He tells you and take action in obedience. His voice is the anchor that guides your life in every season.

Today's Declaration:

I hear the voice of God. He leads me in truth, reveals His plans to me, and I follow Him with confidence.

Today's Prayer:

Dear God, thank you for being a God who speaks. I open my heart and ears to hear you more clearly. Help me to recognize your voice and respond with faith and obedience. Teach me to trust your words more than my worries. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Journal Prompt:

What is God saying to you right now?
