1–2 Peter: A 10-Day Devotional Reading Planنموونە

An Ever-Present Help
A day will come—the day when Christ returns to earth, revealing his glory—when we will actually rejoice at the sufferings we’ve gone through. But the blessings that come to us as a result of suffering aren’t all future-oriented. Peter tells us that even now when we suffer because we are Christians, we receive a special blessing: the Holy Spirit rests on us in some special way.
Reflection:
Do you struggle to trust God when he allows hardships into your life? If so, what from this passage can help you trust him and avoid sinking down in fear when you face the next fiery trial?
