1–2 Peter: A 10-Day Devotional Reading Planنموونە

Perseverance
Peter has warned us to safeguard ourselves in the truth of God’s word and to avoid being led away from Christ by false teaching. At the same time, once we are united to Christ, we can never lose our salvation. This is true because of what theologians call the “perseverance of the saints.” It means that once we have been united to Christ by faith, we can never fall away.
Reflection:
How does this encourage us to live as obedient disciples rather than to take our salvation for granted and live as we please?
