[Moses said:] “Take to the one place of worship your offerings and the gifts that you have promised the LORD.”

Reflect

In today’s reading, the people are instructed to offer to the LORD a tithe (one-tenth) of their harvest and the first-born of their livestock. What other instructions for worship are given? What does God promise the people? What worship rituals take place within your community of faith?

Lord God, I worship you. Teach me to obey faithfully everything that you command and to do what is right. May all I do and say be pleasing to you. Amen.
