Known and Valued

Did you know that our Father in Heaven looked on as you formed in your mother’s womb? He watched as your physical body transformed from unformed substance to bone, muscle, and skin. Before you were born, your name was written in His book of life, for the Lord knew that you would decide to be His. Because we have free will (the ability to decide if we believe in Jesus Christ dying for our sins), it means so much to God the Father when we choose Christ over the world.

As if that’s not enough detail, the Lord also knows the number of hairs on your head, and that’s pretty amazing when you consider that number changes frequently! Brother or sister in Christ, I don’t know about you, but with knowledge of God’s great detail that was put into us being created, I presume we must be of utmost importance to our Creator. He took care to know the intimate details about each of us, personally. You could even say, He knows us better than we know ourselves, and that’s saying a lot! God knows us intimately, and He values our existence.
