The book of Hebrews helps us to understand how the Old and New Testaments relate to one another. There is this wonderful continuity between them. This is emphasized through the new covenant being better than the old one.

It's exciting for us to see what happens when Jesus comes into this Old Testament image of the Tabernacle. An image that is like a shadow pointing to Jesus.

Jesus has become OUR high priest who has opened the way to the Holy of Holies. This is through His uniquely shed blood on the cross.

We have new life in Him through His death on the cross and have free entry into the Holy of Holies. Isn’t it wonderful to better understand Jesus' incredible love for us? We are invited now to listen to His voice.

I would like to invite all of us today to worship Jesus as our High Priest, to contemplate Him, and to thank Him for the incredible grace that we were allowed to receive through Him.

I invite you to simply spend 10 minutes today and receive words of eternal life from Him.
