Twenty Five Days of Christmas Devotionsنموونە

Zechariah the priest was given a promise by God through the angel Gabriel, that he and Elizabeth would have a child in their old age. He who was a priest all his life, lost the ability to speak for a period of time due to his unbelief. He doubted God’s might in fulfilling His purpose in their lives.
Through Christ, God has given us His precious promises. To all those who believe in His name, He has given them the right to be His children. He has cleansed us from our sins and promised us victory over sin and death. If we doubt these promises we will struggle with identity and fear, and fail to enjoy the abundant life that Christ has promised. Blessed is the one who believes that there will be a fulfilment of what has been spoken to them by the Lord (Luke 1:45).

There is no better season than Christmas to dwell on the reason for the season. Over the next 25 days, we will look back at some key prophecies relating to the promised Messiah. We will also observe the lives and circumstances that surrounded the birth of Jesus. Above all, we will see how Jesus makes a difference in our lives both now and forever.
