Journey to Easterنموونە

Palm Sunday
As we think about and participate in Palm Sunday, we can’t help thinking about what happens later that week, so dark, yet ultimately full of hope and joy just a week later.
Yet Palm Sunday is a celebration. It celebrates Jesus being recognised as the Messiah. The one who comes in the name of the Lord. The one foretold by the prophet in Zechariah 9:9.
It’s time to rejoice because God’s chosen one has come. As Psalm 118:26 reminds us, ‘blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’.
