Reading With the People of God - #5 We Believe.نموونە

Memorization Challenge of the Month:
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Reading with the People of God Primer:
Today's readings call us to seek God's peace, obey His commands, and reflect on Jesus' sacrifice. As you prepare to read God's Word, take some time to reflect on the questions below:
Guiding Questions:
- How can you actively seek and pray for peace in your community?
- What areas of your life need more alignment with God's commands?
- How does reflecting on Jesus' trial and sacrifice deepen your faith?

This is the fifth part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for the Apostles' Creed, and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.
