A Kingdom of Power

The Gospel is not just something to be understood—it is something to be experienced and demonstrated. Jesus exemplified this in His Ministry. He didn’t stop at teaching Profound Truths; He always followed His words with action. Whether it was healing the sick, casting out demons, or feeding the multitudes, He showed His disciples the Power of the Kingdom. He didn’t just tell them about the Gospel; He demonstrated it and then invited them to do the same.

First Corinthians 4:20 reminds us, “The kingdom of heaven is not a matter of talk but of power.” Yet, how often do we limit our faith to intellectual understanding? How often do we hear sermons, read Scripture, or attend Bible studies but fail to step into the demonstration of God’s Power?

Imagine if other professions operated this way. A nurse would never touch a patient without first observing and practicing under supervision. A plumber wouldn’t approach a broken pipe without first seeing how to fix one. Why, then, do we approach the Kingdom differently? Jesus’ “see one, do one, teach one” model wasn’t just practical—it was transformational. The disciples learned by seeing Him in action, then doing what He did, and finally teaching others to do the same.

The Kingdom of God is meant to be lived, not just studied. It calls us to move beyond passive learning into active participation, to shift from merely talking about God’s Power to demonstrating it in our lives.
