The Power of Love: Finding Rest in the Father’s Loveنموونە

The Fullness of God
I wish I could tell you that once you become a Christian, life becomes easy—that struggles and difficulties disappear. But that’s just not true. Unfortunately, we live in a broken world and that means at times we’re going to face trouble. And in those moments, our opportunist enemy seizes the chance to whisper lies:God has forgotten you. He doesn’t really love you.
But here’s the truth: Even in your hardest moments, even when God feels far away, you’re never separated from His love. No circumstance, failure, or disappointment can separate you from the love of God.
Paul prays in Ephesians 3:19 that believers wouldn’t just know about God’s love, but would experience it so deeply and fully that it fills every part of their being. That’s my prayer for you today as well. That in the middle of the storm, you wouldn’t just recall the idea of His love, but would feel it surrounding you, holding you, carrying you.
When you are filled with the fullness of God’s love, you can have deep confidence in your heart that even if life is hard and God feels far away, God hasn’t forgotten you. God’s love for you never changes. Paul confirms this in Romans 8 when he writes that nothing in creation, not even death, can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
It’s normal to feel frustrated, anxious, or weary when you’re in the valley. Read Psalms and you’ll see David express these exact emotions to God. But here’s they key. David never stayed there. He didn’t let his feelings have the final word. And neither should you.
To today, I want to challenge you to stop fixing your eyes on your circumstances or past disappointments and instead lift your eyes to God. Isaiah 55 reminds us that God's ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than ours. You may not be able to see the way out of the wilderness, but that's okay. Because God can see the whole story. Remember, His ways are higher. He can see the beginning from the end.
And because of that, you can trust Him even in the storm. Even in the struggle, He is trustworthy and true. You can trust His plan for your life.
Take Action:
Today, be intentional about noticing God’s love in your life. Set a goal to find at least three ways He is showing His love to you—big or small. It could be:
- A moment of peace in the middle of chaos
- A kind word from a friend or stranger
- A beautiful sunrise or a song that lifts your spirit
Write them down in a journal or on your phone and take a moment to thank God for them.
