CENTER OF GOD'S CREATION

In Genesis 1:26-27, scripture teaches that we are made in the very image of God. While all things that God created were “good,” He goes so far to call the creation of man “very good.” As His child, you hold a special place as the image-bearer of the One True Living God! He set you apart by giving you a spirit that can commune with the Holy Spirit.

When you connect with God through creation, you are reminded of your true identity by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Adoption, who calls you a child of God. Know that God loved you so much that He not only gave you dominion over His creation but He also made you in His very image, the likeness of God in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER

Father, thank You for creating me in Your image. Show me how special I am to You and my true identity in You. Forgive me where I haven’t seen myself the way You see me. I love You, Lord! In Jesus' name, amen.

APPLICATION

• Ask God: “How do You see me?”
• Reflect on the areas of your life where you have not fully embraced your identity as one created in the image of God. Repent and seek the Lord’s truth on who He says you are.
