Whom Do You Seek - Easterنموونە

“I have decided to follow Jesus,
I have decided to follow Jesus,
I have decided to follow Jesus,
No turning back,
No turning back"
- Hymn
At this point there’s no turning back. Jesus is about to be arrested and He is saying His last words. So how does Jesus assure and exhort His disciples in the face of fear and the reality of leaving them soon? He says, “Believe in God; believe also in me”.
The disciples have intensely invested their lives into Jesus; following His teaching and ministry. They are all in, but are starting to buckle at the reality of Him leaving. Sometimes we don’t realise how precious or powerful our belief in Jesus is until we face moments where there is no other option but belief.
Today, ponder this: Today, as you soak and meditate on John 14, ask God in what areas of your life do you need a strengthening of belief. Perhaps you may also consider asking God to prompt you to assure or encourage someone else, someone who is struggling with belief and trust in God as they face a trial or hardship in this current time.

The bustling streets of Jerusalem, palm branches waving as a man rides upon a donkey. A final, intimate meal with friends. The heartbreaking betrayal and the gravity of a trial. Stand in silent awe at the foot of the cross, and finally, rejoice in the triumph of the empty tomb. Follow along as we medidate on Jesus' sacrifice and the profound hope of His resurrection.
