Evidence of a Genuine Follower

Jesus teaches that people will be known by their fruit — their actions, attitudes, and how they love. Being a follower of Christ means more than attending church or having Christian friends. It’s about living a transformed life where others can clearly see Jesus at work in you. Imagine standing in a courtroom, as the world examines your life for evidence of faith. Would there be enough? Would your kindness, generosity, integrity, and love for others point undeniably to Jesus? Today, take inventory of your life. Is there evidence of patience when situations are tense? Do you display humility in moments of pride? The fruit of your life speaks louder than your words. Jesus doesn’t call us to blend in but to stand out for His glory. People are watching. Your family, colleagues, neighbors, and even strangers will notice whether your faith is real or simply words. Your fruit is the undeniable proof that you belong to Christ.

1. Write down three areas where you want to display more spiritual fruit this week and intentionally focus on them each day.
2. Ask a trusted friend or family member to share what fruit they see in your life and where they think you could grow.
