At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
SPEND TIME WITH GOD
There's no formula or one right way to spend time with God. Whether you already know how you like to spend time with God, or you're still trying to understand how to hear God's voice, today's challenge is going to help you experiment with some new ways of connecting with Him. Try it and see what you discover about God—and about yourself, too!
Some parts of every day are busier or more stressful than others. When these moments happen, God can sometimes feel distant or forgotten. This week, think of a time or place when God feels furthest from you. Make a plan for how you will stop, remember, and worship God in this time. It could be...
- An especially difficult class,
- On a shift with a challenging co-worker,
- When you're alone in your room at night,
- Or when you head out the door each morning to begin your day.
Once you recognize what those moments are for you, spend some time in prayer and ask God to remind you that we worship because God is holy.

Have you ever stood in awe of a natural wonder—a pristine glacier, a golden sunset, or vast ocean—and been amazed by its beauty? These remind us of the incredible God who created everything. So, what would it look like to live every day in awe of our Creator? For the next 28 days, we’ll explore what it means to worship—not just with songs or prayers, but with the way we live. Our lives are shaped by our response to the wonder of who God is, and we’ll see when we worship, we get to know God more.
