Face Your Fears 10 Day Devotionalنموونە

DAY 2 | CONFRONTING ANXIETY
Fear coupled with anxiety is a dangerous mixture of emotions. These two emotions can cause an otherwise logical, rational person to do senseless and illogical things. God wants you to walk by faith, trusting Him day by day. He has gone before you, knows what you will face, and has even prepared you for it. Consider the role anxiety has played in your life and how it contrasts with God’s command to bring your requests to Him through prayer. Choose to trust God today.
Reflect on Matthew 6, focusing on Jesus’ teachings about God’s provision for your needs. Identify specific anxieties you need to relinquish to God and give them to Him, seeking His peace.
GUIDED PRAYER:
Father, I no longer want anxiety and fear to rule my life. Help me lay them at Your feet. I understand that You see my needs even before I do, and I trust that You will provide for all of them. God, I pray for Your peace to guard my heart and mind. Teach me to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness.
Amen.

Are your fears holding you back from God's best in your life? Do you recognize that your fear is robbing you of your faith and trust in God? We all deal with fear from time to time. God has given us this critical emotion for good reasons. But there are those times when our regular and normal fears become illogical and unreasonable. They lead us to make bad decisions that only make things worse. God is with you and HIS perfect love casts out fear.
