Day 10: Faith and Confidence
It takes faith to envision something different than your current predicament. I remember my husband sharing a story about how he had to choose to believe that I would recover, even though doctors advised him to call family and friends while I was still alive, in case I didn't survive.
When I met one of my doctors for a follow-up visit months after being released from the hospital, he told me that he had watched me deteriorate right before his eyes. Thankfully, I am alive today after he performed a medical procedure that helped save my life.
If you are feeling afraid, overwhelmed, fearful, or sad while facing a difficult situation, place your trust in God. While there may be days when your faith wanes, God remains in control.
