Day 16: Knowing God and His Word

When I was in the hospital, I remembered Psalm 118:17-19. I kept hearing it over and over again—that I would live and not die—and I was determined to proclaim what the Lord had done. Be of good courage, for as you read God's Word, it never returns void.

When I read the Bible, I do it with faith—believing that His Word will return when I need it the most. To my surprise, I was amazed that when I did need it the most, the Holy Spirit brought Psalm 118:17-19 to my memory. I am deeply grateful to God to be alive.

My prayer is to share with more people what God has done and longs to do in all of our lives, so others may feel equipped, empowered, and encouraged. He has done a mighty work in my life and answered many prayers. But it is not just for me, He freely gives to all people as it says in Acts 10:34-35.
