Encouragement

Encouragement is like chalking your cue. It may seem small, but it makes all the difference in how the next shot plays out. When we speak uplifting words that build others up, we remind them that mistakes aren’t the end—they’re part of the game and part of life.
Sometimes, the person across the table isn’t just missing balls—they’re carrying burdens you can’t see. A kind word, a smile, or simply being present can shine God’s light when it’s needed most.
Jesus often encouraged the overlooked—the ones others ignored or judged. And when we do the same, right here in the pool hall, we become His reflection in a place that probably doesn’t expect it.
So next time you’re playing, look for that moment to lift someone up. You never know—your encouragement could be the cue that helps them take their next shot in life.
