Fear

Sometimes, when we’re standing over a shot, our focus blurs, our hands shake, and we start to second-guess ourselves. Fear can steal your confidence before you even break the rack.
When I’m standing over a tough shot, I sometimes whisper a prayer: “Lord, calm my spirit. Help me play with peace, not pressure.” Because when we play from peace—when we trust that God is with us—our aim steadies. And even if we miss, He still teaches, still guides, still loves.
So the next time fear shows up, whether it’s at the table or in life, ask the Lord to fill you with His strength and peace so you can play, speak, and live with confidence in Him.
"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
—2 Timothy 1:7 NIV

Table Talks

The pool hall might not look like a church, but under the soft glow of a table lamp, God still speaks. Between the quiet focus of a shot and the sound of the balls breaking across the felt, there are lessons waiting to be found. Each game becomes more than just competition—it becomes a conversation with the heart. “Table Talks” is about seeing God’s hand in ordinary places—about how the light of Christ can shine even in the hum of a pool hall. Every shot, every word, and every act of grace becomes a quiet reflection of Him.
