Wisdom Over Temptation
Wisdom protects us from falling into sin, even when blessings and opportunities come. Solomon received great wisdom from God, which drew admiration and gifts from others (1 Kings 3:11-14). Yet, temptation still found him when his focus shifted.
God gives wisdom so we can navigate life and relationships wisely. Your goal is not only to receive blessings but to handle them rightly. Let every choice, relationship, and decision reflect God’s guidance.
Ask God for wisdom to recognize subtle temptations and the strength to resist them. Separation includes choosing God’s way even when the world offers something attractive.
Reflection Question
- Where do you need God’s wisdom to resist temptation?
- How can you practise discernment in daily decisions?
