The Treasures Of Psalm 23Sample

Become a source of blessings!
“You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.” (the Bible, Psalm 23:5)
The oil, called anointing, is the symbol of the Holy Spirit in the Bible. (the Bible, Luke 4:18-19)
The priests and kings were anointed with oil as a sign of confirmation of their callings and their positions (for example, see Exodus 29:7 and 1 Samuel 16:13).
When the prophet Samuel poured out the oil on young David, the Bible states that the Spirit of the Almighty God came upon him. It’s by the Holy Spirit that David was empowered to confront Goliath and do many other mighty feats for God. It’s by the Holy Spirit that he composed magnificent psalms, such as this one, Psalm 23.
God wants you to be filled with His Holy Spirit! Your life will not only be blessed but will touch others as well. You will become a source of blessings!

About this Plan

In this reading plan I share my thoughts about Psalm 23. The texts are a meditation on the most emblematic psalm of King David. They contain veritable treasures which are enriched by incredibly powerful visual images. These images are created by Jérémie Roussier and some moved me to tears! Take your time to look at them all! Welcome to this series on Psalm 23!
