Stranger Things - Unseen Is Not UnrealSample

God’s armor equips us to fight every spiritual battle.
The full armor of God, as outlined in Ephesians 6, has six parts to it, and each piece is crucial to winning this spiritual fight.
The belt of truth represents all truth in this world – keeping us protected from deception.
The breastplate of righteousness is another defensive weapon that only comes from Jesus – His righteousness becomes ours.
The shoes of peace allow us to stand firm on solid ground.
The shield of faith protects us from the fiery darts of fear, panic, and false thoughts – reminding us of God’s promises daily.
The helmet of salvation reminds us of the present and future hope that we have as Christians – we’ll one day be in eternity with Him forever.
The sword of the Spirit is our offensive weapon – and it’s the only one outlined in Ephesians 6. It represents the Word of God, the Bible, and the power it can have it on life to cut through the darkness.
What part of God’s armor do you need today?

About this Plan

What’s really out there? While a biblical faith in Jesus is reasonable and pragmatic in many ways, it includes a spiritual realm, as well. During this 13-day plan, we hope to become more comfortable and familiar with some of Christianity’s unseen realities.
