Instead of asking do I have to go to church, maybe we should be asking why wouldn’t we want to go to church? It is impossible for us to live the life God has planned for us without being a part of a church. When we’ve been saved, we want to be in God’s Presence and a part of leading others to know Him. We also need to be around other people that are seeking after God with all their heart, mind and soul. Who we surround ourselves with is who we become. God created us to need community and relationships and we find that at church. Church refreshes us, allows us to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, gives us community and family, allows us to be in God’s Presence, and gives us a chance to serve and build His Kingdom. The only reason why someone would not want to go to church every week would be because they don’t fully understand what God did for them and what a privilege it is to be a part of what He’s doing through the church to reach the lost. When we put God first in all areas of our life, we won’t want to miss a day of Church!

Practical Step:

Commit to make church a priority for you and your family and be on time out of respect and honor for the Presence of God.
