IF GOD IS FOR US

Have you ever surprised a child with a present? Maybe you spent time noticing their hobbies or likes and searched through a game, art, sports, or toy store for that perfect thing that would make their face light up. Kids are so easy to please because we as adults usually have way more information than they do. We know what’s good for them, what’s made with the best quality, what will be the safest, and perhaps what will provide the most joy. What should that tell you about the gifts God your Heavenly Father creates and gives to you? You can believe this: He knows you. He made every part of you inside your mother’s womb, and wants what is best for you. If He gave His only Son as a sacrifice to have us with Him for eternity in heaven, what tiny, insignificantly good thing here on earth would He ever hold back from us? Nothing can separate you from a love that strong, and the best part is, it’s a gift. There’s nothing you can do to earn it, so there’s nothing you can do to have it taken away. He wanted you with Him so badly that He gave you that gift of salvation. He wants to see your face light up when you receive it.
