FEARLESS - Boldly Pursuing Jesus And His MissionSample

Following God is rarely a planned-out journey. It often involves leaving what you know to step into the unknown. It means leaving what is comfortable and embracing something sacrificial; following God even if you don’t have the itinerary.
When God told Abram (Abraham’s original name) to go, he didn’t know exactly where he’d end up. God simply said, “go to the land I will show you.” Abram was 75 years old. He didn’t have any children, but not by choice. His wife, Sarai, was barren and unable to have children. Yet still, God asked Abram to leave his personal identity and security, his family and his home, and go to a place not yet revealed.
But what Abram discovered on the other side of his obedience was a great promise. God asks us to give our full devotion without always getting a full explanation. Being FEARLESS is a willingness to trust God fully and follow Him, even when we don’t have the itinerary.
Where in your life do you need to trust God?

About this Plan

God has given His people a purpose: to connect everyone to Jesus and his mission. In order to pursue the mission of Jesus, we cannot have a faith that is timid or cowardly. As we spend time looking at the life of Abraham, a man of courageous faith and sacrificial obedience, we will be challenged to be FEARLESS for the mission of Jesus.
