21 Prayers Every Christain Should PraySample

DAY EIGHTEEN – “LIFT ME”
Today’s Scripture Reading: Psalm 3:3-4
Body language speaks volumes. Sometimes, we can literally read what’s happening in someone’s heart by the way they posture themselves. And a common posture for someone who is feeling discouraged is to look down. It’s like the weight of the world is on them and they find it difficult to face life. With this in mind, the bible says that God is the one who lifts up our heads.
You see, when you’re looking down, all you can see is what’s down. It limits your perspective and lowers your expectations. When we look up, we can start seeing beyond our present circumstances. We gain perspective and we begin to believe for a better tomorrow. When we look up, we can begin to see that God is at work, even in our trials.
So, our prayer today is, "Lord, help me to look up so I can see what you are doing!"
