21 Prayers Every Christain Should PraySample

DAY NINE – “SHOW ME”
Today’s Scripture Reading: Matthew 9:35-38
When reading the gospels, something that stands out about Jesus is that Jesus saw people that others didn’t see. Matthew 9:36, says that Jesus, “Saw the crowds, (and) he had compassion on them…” Jesus saw what others missed. The blind, the poor, the paralyzed, the broken had become background noise to a lot of people in Jesus’ time, but not to Jesus. These were people to him - real, flesh and blood, living, breathing, hurting people.
I wonder how many people I miss every day. I'm either too busy, or preoccupied, or numb and I just miss it. I miss them. As you pray today, ask the Lord to help you see as He sees. Ask Him to break your with what breaks His heart. And then do life today with your eyes open. See what, or who, you've been missing. And be open to making a difference in someone's life.
