DAY 1 OF 7

Educator + Tenacious = Edunacious

Serving as a God-honoring Educator is serious business. Educators, Teachers, Professors and Instructors all have one thing in common; the expected responsibility to provide sound informational instruction to their students. A shared goal of most educators is to effectively impart knowledge, skills and guidance to their students so that optimal understanding is reached and appropriately applied at the right time. Devoted educators understand that teaching is not all about teaching the recommended curriculum and instructional practices required by the educational institution. But committed Educators know that the essential curriculum to implement in their classrooms involve exhibiting God-honoring principles not found in a textbook,  but in THE BOOK – God’s word; the Bible.

The aim of most educators is to properly teach the weekly curriculum in order for students to get an understanding, but the true goal of being an educator is to be a good steward over the students God has entrusted to them for that season. It doesn’t matter if you are an educator who has students in daycare or in a professional graduate school program, serving as an educator is a great responsibility paired with long-lasting, life-changing experiences. Serving as an educator involves positively impacting and influencing the students served. Serving as an educator also involves endurance, commitment and making personal sacrifices no one knows about other than God. Serving as an educator is not a career to be taken lightly because it is filled with many responsibilities and consequences. Educating students is not just a job it’s a ministry that never stops because everyone must learn something and in order to learn it, an educator must teach it.

As an educator it is vital to actively walk in the Fruits of the Spirit as well as integrity and respect.  Educators should intentionally aim to be tenacious in the God honoring principles of servitude and sacrifice despite their current and past challenges. When an educator purposefully exhibits God-honoring principles inside and outside of the classroom they are indeed Edunacious.

Now not every educator is Edunacious but for the educator who is tenacious in living a God-honoring life when it appears no one cares or recognizes their efforts, remember God sees.

Be encouraged Educators that God will reward you for your work. Don’t become weary in doing good, God will show himself strong in your life, continue to be Edunacious.

About this Plan

An educator’s impact and influence on a student can be outstandingly long-lasting. Although educators have the responsibility of properly teaching students in the midst of their personal challenges inside and outside the learning environment, keeping God first and maintaining fortitude is key. In the Edunacious Bible plan, Educators will discover through scripture the importance of holding firm to God-honoring principles whilst educating the students God has entrusted unto them.
