Have you ever watched a really good musician play an instrument? Or watched some amazing athletes compete in the Olympics on TV? There’s just something exciting about seeing people show off a truly impressive skill or ability.
Whether you believe they were born with exceptional talents or had to work hard to get them (or maybe a mixture of both), one thing is for sure: They’re using their giftings in incredible ways to inspire others. Did you know that as a follower of Christ, the same is true for you? You may not be an incredible musician or Olympic athlete, but you do have unique gifts that God gave to you to serve and inspire others.
This week, ask a parent, Small Group Leader, or close friend what they think you’re good at—what your unique gifts are. Then, look for ways to use that gift to serve or inspire someone else.

About this Plan

It’s easy to see faith as just a list of dos and don’ts we have to keep in order to make God happy. But what if this view of faith is missing the mark? We’ll discover that Jesus didn’t come to keep us captive to a list of rules. In fact, just the opposite is true! Because of Jesus, we get to live as free people.
