The end of the matter! After all the evidence has been heard and weighed, we now conclude the matter.  The verdict is rendered by the Teacher. 

What really matters in life? What should we strive to do with this thing called “life”? As others have written, “How now shall we live?”! 

Fear God and keep His Commandments. 

Why? Because this is the whole duty of man! In the end, the Lord will bring to light everything we have ever done, said, or thought. That ought to help keep our minds clean and our browser history from being compromised. 

The Teachings of the Wise One are echoed in the New Testament. We know that one day, we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. In that moment, we want our lives to be marked by obedience rather than the seeking of pleasure. We want our lives to have been spent in pursuit of Godly endeavors rather than on carnal pursuits. 

A life well lived is one that is focused on keeping the commandments of the Lord and pursuing a passionate relationship with God through faith in His Son, Jesus the Christ! May it be so in all our lives!
