The 5-Minute Bible Reading Plan And Devotional: ActsSample

Ways God Rescues
When the Roman commander learned that forty armed men wanted to murder Paul, he ordered two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen to take Paul to Caesarea by night (Acts 23:12–24). The last time Paul faced a similar threat, a couple unarmed men had lowered him over the city wall in a basket (9:23–25). God isn’t limited by a set way of doing things—whether defending you, bringing finances, restoring relationships, etc. He is perfectly capable of working outside of the box. Don’t limit Him by insisting that He do things a certain way.
