The 5-Minute Bible Reading Plan And Devotional: ActsSample

Peter’s Paradigm Shift
Peter was a faithful Jew, so had never eaten nonkosher food and had never visited an “unclean” Gentile (Acts 10:14, 28). He thought going into all the world to preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15) meant going to the Jewish communities scattered abroad. God had to take Peter through a paradigm shift. How might your own traditions and limiting doctrines be holding you back from reaching out to those who need the Gospel or a demonstration of Christian love? Ask God to lead you daily and constantly show you new things. He’s very willing.
