The 5-Minute Bible Reading Plan And Devotional: ActsSample

Salvation by Grace Alone
One day, Jewish believers came to Antioch from Jerusalem. They taught the Gentile Christians that unless they became circumcised and kept the Law of Moses, they couldn’t be saved. Paul strongly argued that faith in Jesus and God’s grace was what saved Gentiles and Jews. In modern times, people add different manmade commandments to the salvation package. “Yes, you’re saved by grace,” they say, “but you must always maintain your salvation by not going to dances or movies, not playing cards, etc.” No. Now, as then, you’re saved by God’s grace, not your own works.
