Living a Life of Faith 

We live our Christian lives by faith, not by what we can see or understand naturally. Thankfully, our faith is not rooted in human effort, self-confidence, intellectual acumen, optimism, good lucky, social connections, or religious formulas. It’s rooted in God’s unlimited power and unchanging Word, which produces faith within you. 

Walking by faith calls for action. The moment you act, your faith springs to life, inviting God to move on your behalf. Even if you don’t feel like it, walk by faith and reap the rewards God has for you! Today, it might be unclear where God is taking you. Yet He has your tomorrow already planned out. He’s not held back by the limitations we labor with, such as time. And you should be glad about that—you wouldn’t want anybody else to have power to determine your destiny. 

Our responsibility is to line up our wills with God’s will. When we do, He empowers us to accomplish what normally would be impossible. Will you experience delays and disappointments? Yes; but ultimately, you won’t be denied, for God has decreed it. All the great achievers in the Bible had one thing in common: they were ordinary folks who took risks in obedience to God, believed Him, and ended up doing extraordinary things. God’s ultimate plan for you is greater than you can comprehend. We must trust Him, see Him at work, and believe that “He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
