Beauty with a Renewed Mind
The dictionary defines the word “renew” this way: “to resume an activity after an interruption.”
The Bible says that we are to live according to the renewing of our minds.
I find this interesting. This means that our minds were actually going the right way until something interrupted it. What if the interruption is an emotional one? What if it is fear or despair or insecurity? What if it’s a mental interruption? Thinking that we don’t know enough or have enough? What if it’s a social one?
What if life really is this simple, and God’s renewing power this overwhelmingly complete in our life? That all we have to do is figure out the interruptions, show it to the Holy Spirit, and let Him take it out so we can continue on in the new state that we are in as daughters of God?
I know I just threw a lot of questions at you right now, but think about it. What interrupted you from your walk as a daughter of God today?
